Sophie was"Artist in residence" at Kingswood school in Bath in 2003/4. She has been exhibiting in galleries, sculpture parks and festivals since 1997 and has done several commissions in the U.K and abroad.

Recent local exhibitions have been at Westonbirt Arboretum, Quenington, and The Affordable Artfair, and her work is held permanently at sculpture parks in Broomhill, Devon and Farenham.

Sophie decided to follow her passion for sculpture after graduating with a language degree at Nottingham university and went to the Elizabeth Frink School of Figurative Sculpture in Stoke-on-Trent.

She followed this with a postgraduate course at the Cyprus College of Art before setting up studio in Temple Cloud near Bath in 2001. She has since spend a year in a studio at
Spike Island and is now at The Robinson Building in Bristol.

Sophie works in plaster, life-size, half life-size and smaller. She casts all her own work having aquired these skills working at Pangolin Bronze Casting Foundry near Stroud and Opus Resin Casting Studio in Temple Cloud.

Sophie has had studios in Temple Cloud, near Bath, Spike Island and the Robinson Building in Bristol and currently at Widcome Studios in Bath.
